We have a new paper out in Chem. Commun.! In this work, Will, Georgia, Nirob, and Chamoni show that pyridines reversibly form adducts with carbodiimides, lowering their effective concentrations in solution. This allows the activation rates and lifetimes of carbodiimide-driven systems to be controlled.
